If your report’s PDF export is taking longer than expected, don’t worry — there’s a queue system behind the scenes. Here’s how to understand what’s happening and what actions to take.
What’s Normal
PDF generation in AdClicks happens on-demand and is managed through a processing queue. This means that:
- Wait times may increase significantly during peak usage hours.
- Some PDFs — especially those with heavy data or visual content — may take longer to process.
- If you don’t see an error, it means the download is still in progress — please be patient.
⚠️Important: Avoid closing, refreshing, or navigating away from the page.
Doing so will restart your request and move it to the end of the queue, causing further delays.
If You Do Get an Error Message
Sometimes, a PDF may fail to generate due to a timeout, data issue, or unexpected error.
What to do:
- Take a screenshot of the error message (you’ll find it at the bottom of the page).
- Escalate the issue to the technical support team with the following information:
- The screenshot
- A link to the report
- Brief description of what happened
- Approximate time you attempted the download
